Visitor Information

What to Expect on Your First Visit

We invite you to join us each week as we worship together. Our services begin with upbeat, contemporary praise and worship music. We encourage everyone to participate. Don’t worry; we didn’t know the songs at first either. You’ll notice we devote a lot of time to worship. Worship isn’t just a filler before the sermon… It’s the reason we come together! It’s a powerful and personal way to connect our hearts with God. You’ll also notice a lot of variety in how people participate in the worship time: some sit, others stand, some raise their hands. How you respond to God in worship is up to you; all we ask is that you go after God with all your heart, giving him your very best.

Please dress comfortably. You’ll notice a range of clothing from shorts and t-shirts to Sunday best. Everyone is always welcome.

About the Message

Today’s message is not just one man delivering God’s word to an audience of people. In a worship service the congregation is the participants and God is the audience. Although the Pastor has prepared a message for all of us, please don’t just sit back and listen.cultivate and use what the Lord may show you through the message in days to come.

About
Salvation

Do you know if you were to die today, that you would go to heaven? Salvation isn’t about how good you are, or how many good deeds you do. It is a free gift from God. So how do you get this free gift?

ADMIT honestly to God that you have sinned and disobeyed Him.

BELIEVE that Jesus died for your sins, rose from the dead, and that you trust Him alone 100% for your salvation.

CONFESS your belief to others.

About the Offering

Those of us who have committed our lives to Christ give out of obedience to support God’s Work at Cross Creek. If you are visiting, don’t feel pressured to give. We rely on the giving of our members to support this ministry. Tithing is an act of worship. We magnify the Lord by obeying His Word in this area.

How May I Join Cross Creek Community Church?

Cross Creek has a time of invitation at the end of the worship service. This time is provided for anyone wishing to make a profession of faith and/or commitment to the Lord Jesus and to the Lord’s Work at Cross Creek. During the invitation, walk to the front of the Worship Center and the Pastor will assist you in becoming a member of our church.

The following is an explanation of ways in which you may join Cross Creek:

PROFESSION OF FAITH (BAPTISM):

If you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow Him in Baptism by immersion, you are outwardly expressing your faith in Him.

TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP:

As a Baptist, whose church membership is elsewhere, we welcome you into our fellowship. We will communicate to your former church your decision.

STATEMENT:

This is a statement of faith in Christ and that you have been baptized by immersion at a sister church.
